Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking a Senior Data Protection Engineer to advance a mature data protection program within its IT organization. You will translate policy, regulatory, privacy, and risk requirements into practical controls and operating processes across the enterprise.

The role is hands-on, focusing on data discovery, classification, labeling, access, monitoring, retention, and data loss prevention, with collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders in a regulated banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, information technology, computer science, risk management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data protection, information security, data governance, or related field.
• Experience supporting or building data protection capabilities, programs, or controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance data protection governance, controls, and technologies across the bank.
• Translate policy, regulatory requirements into practical data protection processes.
