Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, information technology, computer science, risk management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data protection, information security, data governance, IT Security, risk management, or related field.
• Experience supporting or building data protection capabilities, programs, or controls.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute an enterprise data protection program within IT.
• Translate policy, regulatory, privacy, and risk requirements into practical controls and operating processes.
• Discover, classify, label, monitor, and protect data across the organization.
• Communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to influence data protection decisions.
• Balance data protection needs with business requirements in a regulated environment.
