Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, advanced degrees a plus.
• 7+ years of product management or leadership in complex data/software/platform products for enterprise customers.
• Experience in genomics, biopharma, healthcare data, bioinformatics, diagnostics, or technically complex life sciences fields.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms, data governance, privacy, security, and data-use controls.
• Ability to influence scientific, technical, legal, and executive stakeholders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, customers, positioning, and roadmap based on needs, market conditions, capabilities, data availability, and objectives.
• Lead customer conversations, discovery, pilots, and feedback sessions to understand goals and criteria.
• Translate needs into requirements, launch criteria, and success metrics for data products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sequencing, bioinformatics, data, cloud, software) to ensure feasible, scalable delivery.
• Define data-use models, permissions, export/sharing capabilities, retention, and compliance with governance.
• Lead pricing discussions, partnerships, and commercialization efforts.
