7-Eleven Distribution Canada Corp. is seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to own the lifecycle of internal and external data products, from discovery through retirement.

You will translate business needs into clear features and delivery plans, prioritize backlogs with cross-functional teams, and drive adoption and governance across data platforms. The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with Databricks and BI tools, and a history of leading data-driven product initiatives in

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience including data/product platforms or analytics products.
• 3+ years managing employees or technical teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements and user stories.
• Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with Databricks, Spark, data pipelines, and BI tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and backlog management.
• Experience applying data governance, privacy, and quality standards to data products.
• Experience using approved AI tools to improve productivity and outputs.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with enterprise data products and self-service analytics.

Responsabilidades

• Own full lifecycle of data products from discovery to retirement.
• Translate business needs into features, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans for engineering teams.
• Manage and prioritize product backlog based on value, urgency, data availability, and cost.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and governance teams.
• Define design choices for batch/streaming, data contracts, and semantic models.
• Track adoption, performance, data quality, and business outcomes.
• Develop documentation, lineage notes, and training materials.
• Drive governance and controls for data quality, security, and privacy.
