Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager to lead the lifecycle of data products that power decision-making across the enterprise. You will own roadmaps, requirements, and governance for datasets, semantic models, and AI-enabled analytics in a Databricks and Power BI environment.

You will partner with data engineers, analytics, privacy, and governance teams to ensure trusted, self-service data products, measure value, and plan capacity and spend for annual forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant data/product experience.
• 3+ years leading teams and managing projects.
• Experience translating business needs into requirements and user stories.
• Strong SQL and familiarity with Databricks, Spark, data pipelines.
• Experience with Agile Scrum and backlog management.
• Experience with data governance, privacy, security, metadata.
• Strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, or similar BI tools.
• Experience in retail or convenience data domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle for internal and external data products.
• Translate business needs into features and acceptance criteria.
• Manage backlogs based on value, urgency, and capacity.
• Partner with data engineers, analysts, data scientists, architects, and governance teams.
• Define product vision, roadmaps, and release plans.
• Track adoption, usage, data quality, and business outcomes.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across products.
• Forecast staffing and costs for annual planning.
• Promote AI-assisted data experiences and self-service analytics.
