Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines that support analytics, AI/ML, and business operations. You will build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions, applying medallion-style data layers and modern tooling across Databricks, Spark, SQL, Python, dbt, and Airflow.

You will collaborate with architecture, analytics, and product teams to deliver trusted data for self-service and reporting while ensuring production readiness and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Experience testing, documenting, and supporting production solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and validating AI-generated work.
