Stride, Inc. is seeking a Business Data Specialist to develop, maintain, and support domain-specific data products driving operational reporting, compliance, funding, and analytics.

The role collaborates with Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Analytics to ensure accurate, well-documented data, with a path to subject-matter expert across business domains. The position emphasizes building scalable dbt/Snowflake solutions, validating data quality, and supporting audit-ready data assets.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional data analysis experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated experience communicating with stakeholders including teachers and school leaders.
• MS365 proficient and capable of cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with data analysis, modeling, design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance domain-specific data products and models using dbt and Snowflake to support reporting, analytics, compliance, funding, and processes.
• Partner with Data Domains to define enterprise data requirements for critical products.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with focus on maintainability.
• Design and implement solutions for complex ad hoc data requests and reusable assets.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, root-cause analysis, and data quality assurance.
