Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Data Product Owner, Business Product Owner, or similar product leadership role
• Experience delivering enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data platform initiatives
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, product ownership practices, and product delivery frameworks
• Proven experience writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and defining acceptance criteria
• Ability to effectively partner with both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and requirements-gathering skills
• Experience translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Domain expertise in Wealth Management, Wealth Advisory, and related areas

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise data products from ideation to delivery
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and refine product requirements
• Define product vision, strategic roadmaps, and success metrics for data initiatives
• Translate business objectives into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs based on business value and regulatory needs
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, governance, and reporting teams
• Drive requirements for reporting, dashboards, data marts, and data management initiatives
• Ensure data products align with governance and quality standards
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, release planning, and stakeholder demos
• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Measure adoption and business impact using KPIs and feedback
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance data accessibility and value

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise data products, from ideation and requirements gathering through delivery, adoption, and continuous enhancement
• Partner with wealth management, investment, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and refine product requirements
• Define product vision, strategic roadmaps, business value propositions, and success metrics for data-driven initiatives
• Translate business objectives into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery teams
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, regulatory requirements, stakeholder needs, and strategic objectives
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, analytics, governance, and reporting teams to deliver scalable data products and platforms
• Drive requirements for enterprise reporting, dashboards, data marts, analytical products, and data management initiatives
• Ensure data products align with governance standards, data quality expectations, compliance requirements, and business processes
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, user acceptance testing, release planning, and stakeholder demonstrations
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Measure product adoption, performance, and business impact using KPIs, analytics, and stakeholder feedback
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data accessibility, usability, and business value

Must Haves

• 7–10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Data Product Owner, Business Product Owner, or similar product leadership role
• Experience delivering enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data platform initiatives
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, product ownership practices, and product delivery frameworks

• Wealth Management, Wealth Advisory, Registered Investment Advisory (RIA), Asset Management, Investment Management, Brokerage Services, Financial Planning, Retirement Services, Capital Markets, Investment Operations

Good to Have

• Experience supporting advisor platforms, client reporting, portfolio management systems, or investment analytics solutions
• Knowledge of investment products including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, and managed accounts
• Familiarity with client onboarding, advisor workflows, portfolio construction, trading platforms, and performance reporting processes
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, master data management, and data quality initiatives
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture patterns
• Experience operating within highly regulated financial services environments
• Hands‑on exposure to technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, SQL, and enterprise data warehousing solutions
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI platforms
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile product management toolsets
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and enterprise data governance frameworks
