Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Data Product Manager to operationalize the Data Product Marketplace and the enterprise catalog for Defense & Systems. You will own onboarding, discovery, self-service access, and adoption metrics to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

You will work with Data Product Owners, manage intake, define SLAs, and ensure catalog completeness while coordinating with the Principal Data Architect on certification decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Data Product Management & Data Marketplace Operations or IT.
• Military experience counts as professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own marketplace and catalog feature backlog: search, discovery, previews, self-service access workflows.
• Prioritize backlog against adoption impact and enterprise roadmap.
• Maintain catalog completeness and data passport currency as products publish/update.
• Manage onboarding and certification intake with Data Product Owners.
• Define product specs: SLAs, uptime targets, health scores, data elements.
• Coordinate with Architect to finalize certification decisions within SLA.
• Ensure design and integration pattern alignment before work starts.
• Conduct user research and journey mapping to remove adoption friction.
• Track adoption metrics: active users, adoption rate, time-to-access, catalog completeness.
• Report adoption results to Sr Principal Technical Product Manager.
