Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a data product leader to operationalize the Data Product Marketplace and enterprise catalog for Defense & Systems. You will own onboarding, catalog discovery, and the consumer experience, driving adoption and governance across the data fabric from intake to usable data products.

You will define SLAs, health scores, and data elements, collaborating with the Principal Data Architect and Sr Principal Technical Product Manager to ensure timely decisions and alignment with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years in Data Product Management or Data Marketplace Operations or IT
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own marketplace and catalog feature backlog: search, discovery, previews, and self-service access workflows
• Prioritize backlog against adoption impact and enterprise roadmap
• Maintain catalog completeness and data passport currency as products publish, enhance, or deprecated
• Manage data-product onboarding and certification intake with Data Product Owners
• Define product specifications: SLAs, uptime targets, health scores, and critical data elements
• Partner with Principal Data Architect to deliver certification and onboarding decisions within SLA
• Confirm design and integration pattern before scheduling
• Run user research and journey mapping to identify adoption friction
• Track adoption metrics: active users, adoption rate, time-to-access, catalog completeness
• Report adoption results to Sr Principal Technical Product Manager
• Coordinate with Data Quality Analysts on specification validation and SLA fit
• Brief P&L Data Stewards and Solution Architects on changes
