Job summary

Universal Music Group seeks a Senior Manager, Data Product - Streaming and Social to lead the strategy and execution of enterprise data products across streaming and social engagement. You will partner with Global Insights, Commercial Strategy, Digital Business, Marketing, Label Analytics, and Governance to define trusted data models, metrics, and utilization.

This role focuses on AI-enabled analytics, enterprise storytelling, and scalable data foundations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in digital music, streaming, or entertainment.
• Experience delivering data products for AI/ML or predictive analytics.
• Understanding of streaming platforms, social platforms, and music consumption trends.
• Experience with data governance and data contracts.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the data product strategy and roadmap for streaming and social data assets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data products are AI-ready, governed, and observable.
• Define metrics, SLAs, and semantic definitions for data products, dashboards, and APIs.
• Drive adoption through clear documentation, training, and stakeholder enablement.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and contracts across internal/external data sources.
