CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise privacy engineering and data protection across structured and unstructured data. You will define strategy, design scalable PETs, and partner with Legal, Compliance, and Cybersecurity to meet evolving regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years advancing Privacy Engineering, Security Engineering, Data Protection, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines with GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA alignment.
• 5+ years designing and deploying enterprise-scale data protection including encryption, tokenization, DLP, PETs, and data classification.
• Strong software engineering foundation with 5+ years in Python, Java, Go or similar languages.
• 5+ years in cloud-native and DevSecOps environments with CI/CD, IaC, security automation, privacy threat modeling.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional privacy, data protection, cybersecurity or compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of enterprise data protection and privacy engineering across data environments.
• Design and deploy PETs including encryption, tokenization, anonymization, and DLP.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed privacy-by-design and translate regulatory requirements into scalable architectures.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations for audits and compliance.
• Drive governance, metrics, automation, and analytics to strengthen privacy posture and operational efficiency.
