Job summary

Honda is seeking a Contracts Sr. Specialist to review high complexity contract requests and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, while ensuring compliance with company policies and governance.

You will educate business teams on contract terms and manage Master Agreements with cross-functional collaboration. The role supports end-to-end contracting operations, partnering with technology teams to optimize CLM tools and drive process updates across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or closely related field or equivalent procurement tenure and experience.
• CSP, CPM or CPSM certification is desirable.
• 5+ years procurement, project management, or contracting experience.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills are required.
• Familiarity with procurement ERP systems (Ariba, SAP) and contract lifecycle tools.

Responsibilities

• Review contract requests of high complexity and negotiate terms.
• Educate business groups on contract terms for sound decisions.
• Lead master agreements and risk assessments with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Legal, Category Management, Risk and Business groups.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management systems and process improvements.
