Job summary

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is seeking a Lead Database Engineer in Jersey City to drive design, development, and evolution of the enterprise data warehouse platform, leveraging Snowflake, SQL, and modern data technologies.

You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, ensure data quality, performance, and scalability, and mentor staff while delivering data pipelines and analytics solutions across IT, Cyber Security, and Business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-8 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Analytics, or related technology disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions from concept through production.
• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting datasets using Snowflake and modern data technologies.
• Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Apply data warehousing best practices to ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and promoting development best practices.
• Develop reporting datasets, metrics, and analytical solutions using infrastructure, security, and operational data.
• Provide technical leadership and operational support for enterprise data platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support incident, problems, and change management activities.
• Collaborate across technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Align risk and control practices with day-to-day responsibilities to appropriately monitor and mitigate risk.
