Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8-10+ years of progressive data engineering experience with senior/lead capacity.
• 5+ years with Snowflake, SQL development, data modeling, and production support.
• 5+ years in senior engineer/lead/architecture-influencing roles.
• 5+ years with dbt, including models, tests, and CI/CD integration.
• 5+ years with SQL and Python for data engineering and data quality validation.
• 3+ years with pipeline orchestration tools.
• Experience partnering with business, data owners, and compliance teams.
• Exposure to ML/AI data infrastructure and AI/ML data preparation preferred.
• Prior experience in financial services or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deliver enterprise data platform solutions using Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Python.
• Establish data engineering standards, governance, CI/CD, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data models and roadmaps.
• Lead monitoring, issue resolution, and performance improvements for data platforms.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and direction for the data engineering practice.
