SunStrong Management is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and curated data models powering analytics across the organization. The role emphasizes data governance, lineage, and secure access to trusted data.

You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, advance platform standards, and mentor junior engineers while delivering production-grade solutions with strong quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of data or platform engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python; proven data pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with cloud data services and infrastructure-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate end-to-end data pipelines (batch and streaming).
• Develop curated data models and datasets for analytics.
• Implement data quality, lineage, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to define contracts and SLAs.
• Own data platform observability, monitoring, and security.
