Job summary

Triumph is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape data-driven decisions. You will design, build, and enhance data pipelines powering business applications, analytics, and decision-making. You’ll blend hands-on work with strategic thinking, guiding best practices across the data engineering team.

You’ll collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models, maintain data quality, and scale data integrations while aligning with the company’s data platform strategy and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of Python development and 5+ years of SQL experience.
• 5+ years of experience with data modeling, schema design, and data processing systems.
• Experience with Snowflake, GitHub, and ClickUp or a similar project management tool.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating across teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with Agile software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage data assets and develop processes to populate data models.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations as data volume and complexity grow.
• Partner with analytics and business teams to improve data models and make information easier to access and use.
• Develop data quality processes and monitoring to help ensure data is accurate, reliable, and available.
• Design, develop, and maintain data integrations and data quality frameworks.
• Analyze data to troubleshoot issues and help teams resolve them efficiently.
• Write unit and integration tests to support reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Document technical work and contribute to engineering resources and best practices.
• Work with business and engineering teams to help shape the long-term data platform strategy.
• Provide technical guidance and promote effective data engineering practices across the team.
• Demonstrate Triumph’s values and core tenets.
• Take on other responsibilities as needed.
