Job summary

Pandora is transforming its Data & Analytics landscape with a cloud-based platform built on Databricks and Azure. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design frameworks, domain models, and automation to make enterprise-scale data movement reliable and reusable.

You will onboard new source systems, build ingestion pipelines, implement data quality controls, and partner with stakeholders to align ownership and definitions. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Proven ability to build production-grade data pipelines at scale.
• Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
• Experience with Azure data services (Data Factory, Storage, Event Hub, Key Vault).
• Experience with data modelling and governance.
• Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ingestion pipelines for batch, API, streaming, and event-driven integrations.
• Onboard new source systems onto Pandora’s data platform, owning end-to-end delivery.
• Develop reusable ingestion frameworks and platform capabilities used by multiple teams.
• Design and build domain data models to provide a single, governed definition of core business entities.
• Own delivery of domain data products for analytics, AI, and reporting teams.
