Job summary

AMH is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and manage our data platform and pipelines for scalable analytics and data science. You will deploy real-time and batch data processing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive data quality and governance across BI and ML initiatives.

You will lead via strong CI/CD practices, mentor teammates, and shape data solutions in a cloud-first environment leveraging Databricks, Spark, and modern data tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of eight years as a data engineer with full-stack capabilities.
• Minimum of ten years in programming.
• Minimum of five years in cloud technologies like Azure, AWS or Google.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience in ML and ML pipelines a plus.
• Experience with real-time integration and data products.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Spark, and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain real-time or batch data pipelines for large data volumes.
• Lead data architecture to support BI, AI/ML and data products.
• Design data platform architecture addressing scalability, maintainability, and integrity.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members; drive CI/CD practices.
