Job summary

Connecteam is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to build high‑scale data platforms and internal tools for business teams. You will work on APIs, data pipelines, and multi‑system flows powering over millions of daily users, with LLM‑assisted features and real‑time event processing.

You will own multiple services across a multi‑cloud stack (Azure, GCP, AWS), write robust REST APIs, and collaborate across teams to translate business needs into production plans while maintaining data integrity

Qualifications

• 8+ years backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python with extensive backend work.
• Production-grade services and REST API experience at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal tools and products for teams across Connecteam.
• Build and maintain services and APIs supporting multi‑step workflows.
• Operate in a real‑time, high‑volume, event‑driven environment.
• Design and ship LLM/agent features with cost, latency, and quality in mind.
• Work in a multi‑cloud environment (Azure/GCP/AWS).
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into production plans.
