Job summary

Actively is hiring a Senior/Staff Data Platform Engineer to build the foundation of Actively’s data ecosystem—pipelines, transformations, and infrastructure that power every agent, insight, and workflow. You’ll design and scale data flows from CRM, transcripts, and external signals, enabling real-time reasoning across millions of accounts.

You’ll own end-to-end reliability, implement streaming and mini-batch pipelines, and work across the full stack with Python, SQL, DBT, BigQuery, Snowflake,

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and operating core data infrastructure in high-growth settings.
• Experience powering ML models, real-time decisioning, or intelligent workflows.
• Fluent in Python, SQL, and DBT; hands-on with BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Experience with streaming/mini-batch pipelines (Pub/Sub, Kafka, Dataflow).
• Startup or platform-scale data experience across many customers.

Responsibilities

• Own ingestion and transformation layers, normalizing data from CRM, transcripts, and signals.
• Build data that informs real-time decisions, prioritizing freshness and low latency.
• Architect real-time and mini-batch pipelines to stay synchronized with customer activity.
• Create robust transformations that handle customer-specific variations at scale.
• Ensure end-to-end reliability: observability, lineage, and schema management.
• Contribute across the full stack in Python, SQL, DBT, and modern ETL tooling.
