Job summary

The Senior Database Engineer II role sits in the Infectious Disease business unit at the Towne Centre site in San Diego, on site, focusing on building scalable data pipelines and modern analytics platforms using Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Required 7+ years in software development with database design; experience in Medical Device industry is preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering products for the Medical Device industry.
- Minimum 7 years in software development involving database design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration processes.
- Lead design and implementation of modern data platforms and analytics solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for SIT/UAT and cross-team collaborations.
- Ensure data solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
