Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Staff or Senior Staff engineer to build out Agentic Analytics. You will shape the data platform, design APIs, and guide cross-functional teams through prototyping to production across data ingestion, semantic layers, and interfaces used by humans and AI agents.

You’ll collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, product, and core infrastructure to iterate on high-leverage problems, ship pragmatic solutions, and mentor peers while raising the bar for engineering

Qualifications

8+ years of experience building and operating a data platform.
Track record of leading complex technical projects across teams as an IC.
Strong software engineering skills with deep data expertise.
Clear technical communication and cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

Build data platform for agents and define APIs and tools.
Improve semantic layer for metric definitions, lineage, ownership, and reliability.
Develop ingestion and infrastructure for timely analytics and experimentation.
Create tools for easy data analysis and accurate queries.
Own production path including architecture, rollout, and adoption.
Mentor engineers and raise engineering bar across teams.
