Mytra is hiring a Senior Data Software Engineer to build the data platform powering our robotics and telemetry-driven systems. You will design data capture lanes, storage tiers, and scalable ingestion while ensuring durable state and cross-site data linkage.

You will own the transformer engine and contribute to end-to-end data workflows in cloud and on-site environments. The role emphasizes building scalable data services, schema design for evolving data contracts, and operating CI/CD,

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and running production backend or data infrastructure.
• Production code in Go, Python, Rust, Java or C++.
• Experience with a durable messaging or streaming system (NATS/JetStream, Kafka, Pulsar).
• Experience with columnar stores, relational databases, and No-SQL databases in production.
• Shipped services with CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting, and own the reliability of those services.
• Experience designing schemas or data contracts to survive change.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on work.
• Built and run data services; ingestion, CDC, or event pipelines.
• Knowledge of ClickHouse and object storage like Parquet or Iceberg; consider schema governance and cost.

Responsibilities

• Design the data capture lanes, storage tiers, and pipeline layout.
• Re-design the ingestion service to scale.
• Build the transform machinery and engine guarantees.
• Create a durable path for system state and memory."
• Develop ID keying and crosswalk tables linking facts to site, robot, and pallet.
• Own retention, cost, and egress policies per record and site-to-cloud replication.
• Operate the cloud and on-site services, including CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting.
