Job summary

Peraton seeks a Data Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines for the SITEC3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance contract. You will build edge processing for filtering and transformation, ensure high-fidelity data lineage, and implement compliant telemetry integration to support threat hunting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in DoD network environments preferred and DoD Zero Trust strategies.
• Experience with data ingestion pipelines, data tagging and CIM mapping.
• Strong scripting skills to automate data classification and tool integrations.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, and maintain data onboarding pipelines ingesting telemetry into the enterprise.
• Implement and optimize data routing, filtering, and masking at the edge.
• Design standardized tagging and field extraction schemas mapped to CIM.
• Develop add-ons to parse and enrich non-standard data sources.
• Troubleshoot data parsing, event breaking, and time-stamping issues to improve search latency.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure secure transport paths.
• Create data flow diagrams and documentation for onboarded sources.
• Develop routing across TAK, TRAX, Compass, CDS, MSS and cloud providers.
