Job summary

Chime is seeking a senior data platform engineer to design, build, and operate self‑serve ETL/ELT frameworks for both batch and streaming workloads. You will own pipeline reliability, data quality SLAs, and schema evolution, while setting the technical standards for data movement across teams.

You will drive the platform roadmap, define integration patterns, and collaborate with product engineering, data science, analytics, and marketing to scale ingestion with strong governance and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating data infrastructure in production.
• Ability to design scalable data platform solutions and govern data quality.
• Proficiency in Python or Java/Kotlin and modern data tooling.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and orchestrators like Airflow or Dagster.

Responsibilities
