Job summary

VIA, headquartered in Boston, MA, seeks a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build secure, scalable data infrastructure and resilient pipelines that power AI-driven decision-making. You’ll work with data engineers, DevOps, and client delivery specialists to ensure reliable data flows and secure, multi-tenant platforms.

You will own cloud-based infrastructure, containerized deployments, and observability, and collaborate on governance, security, and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a data-driven role
• Strong Python (or equivalent) scripting
• Experience architecting scalable SQL/NoSQL schemas
• Ability to design resilient data pipelines and observability
• Hands-on with cloud data services and IaC
• Familiarity with CI/CD and production systems

Responsibilities

• Architect and provision secure data infrastructure using IaC
• Engineer and deploy data pipelines for real-time and batch processing
• Monitor and optimize data infrastructure and performance
• Support application workflows and troubleshoot data issues
• Drive data governance and best practices for health and security
• Operationalize AI models (MLOps) and model deployments
