Job summary

Qualys is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance its Data Platform and middleware, focusing on ClickHouse internals, engines, partitioning, and query execution. You will design schemas for real-world patterns, optimize ingestion and performance, and operate ClickHouse at scale in cloud or on-prem environments.

You will contribute to a scalable microservices-based platform handling over 100 million transactions daily, working with modern open-source tech and driving production readiness

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Applied Math or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, design, develop and support a scalable SaaS-based data platform.
• Optimize ingestion, query performance and storage efficiency for ClickHouse workloads.
• Operate ClickHouse at scale including replication, sharding, and performance tuning.
• Drive capacity planning across CPU, memory, storage I/O and network resources.
