Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Parsippany, NJ is seeking an experienced Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable data platforms on AWS (RDS, Redshift, DMS, Lambda). The role requires deep hands-on knowledge of cloud data services and CI/CD pipelines.

You will administer Couchbase clusters, implement IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and build data replication pipelines using IBM CDC and Kafka, with strong troubleshooting and client-facing communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years total IT with 5+ years data platform engineering.
• Hands-on AWS: RDS, Redshift, DMS, Lambda.
• IaC experience: Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with IBM CDC replication and Confluent Kafka.
• Couchbase cluster management.
• Patching, upgrades and performance tuning.
• CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• AWS IAM services experience.
• SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Linux/Unix 2+ years.
• Good communication, client-facing.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable data platforms in AWS, including RDS, Redshift, DMS, and Lambda-based data solutions.
• Administer and optimize Couchbase clusters, including version upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and high-availability configurations.
• Manage database services including RDS, Redshift, and data migration/replication pipelines.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins for data platform deployments.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain robust data replication pipelines using IBM CDC and Kafka.
• Troubleshoot networking and distributed system issues impacting data services.
