Job summary

Harvey is building a centralized data platform to empower product, analytics, and engineering teams. You’ll architect and operate the core data stack, including ingestion, streaming, and transformation layers, while ensuring data quality, lineage, and multi-region residency.

You will collaborate with Analytics, Data Engineering, product teams, and Infrastructure to scale a platform that enables fast, trustworthy data-driven decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production data infrastructure.
• Deep experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
• Hands-on experience with CDC and streaming pipelines (Kafka, Debezium, Flink, Spark).
• Experience with managed ingestion tooling and deciding when to buy vs build.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform's architecture and technical direction.
• Build and operate ingestion layer across streaming and batch data sources.
• Land data into Snowflake with freshness and cost considerations.
• Own the orchestration platform (scheduling, retries, backfills).
• Build transformation and compute frameworks for scalable data processing.
• Design and operate real-time streaming for high-priority use cases.
• Build trust layer with quality, observability, and lineage.
