Job summary

Google Inc. seeks a Senior Data Application Engineer within the Spaces Engineering team to lead the design and implementation of data foundations for Real Estate and Workplace Services IT.

You will build AI-ready data landscapes, develop robust data pipelines, and collaborate with enterprise data architects and engineers to enable ML initiatives. You will own end-to-end data solutions, drive governance standards, and contribute to scalable architectures that serve strategic portfolio planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years programming with Python or Java and SQL/database development.
• 8+ years designing modern data architectures for enterprise data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of data foundations and high-performance pipelines for real estate functions to support AI consumption.
• Design modern, automated data pipelines to extract data from internal and external sources with high quality and integrity.
• Set up cloud data lakehouses to support real-time streams, AI-ready datasets, and data-mmesh architectures.
• Ensure data governance standards via data contracts and automated quality checks across assets.
• Design, build, and audit SQL-based workflows and advanced queries in cloud data warehouses.
