Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior data architect to lead the evolution of our data architecture across global teams. You will translate complex business needs into scalable, secure cloud-native designs using GCP and Snowflake, and drive adoption of standards and governance.

The role focuses on modern data platforms supporting batch, streaming, analytics, and AI/ML workflows, including orchestration with Airflow/Cloud Composer and strong data modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent related work or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and evolve enterprise data architecture strategy by providing deep technical expertise and aligning architectural decisions to business priorities.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud-native architectures using GCP and Snowflake.
• Develop and promote adoption of enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, governance models, and best practices across global teams.
• Design and guide implementation of modern data platforms supporting batch, streaming, analytics, AI/ML, and agentic workflows (LLMs, RAG, orchestration frameworks)
• Partner with engineering, product, data science, and business stakeholders to inform and influence roadmap priorities and ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
