Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd. seeks a senior engineering leader to own the technical roadmap for our enterprise-scale data and AI infrastructure in Chicago. You will guide a multi-disciplinary team, balance hands-on design with governance, and manage global vendor relationships to deliver scalable solutions.

Your role combines architectural credibility with people leadership, aligning roadmaps with business goals and ensuring security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data engineering or data platform teams at a senior/head level.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms and major cloud providers.
• Strong understanding of data governance, access control, and security practices.
• Experience with large-scale ETL/ELT design and migration programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering organization, providing mentorship to Development Leads and engineers.
• Own the technical roadmap for the data platform, defining reference architectures and design patterns.
• Provide architectural oversight and mentorship; ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes and commercial negotiations.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and AI/agentic capabilities for data infrastructure.
