Job summary

Keyloop seeks a Senior Data Platform Leader to own our AWS‑based data lake, warehouse and core data infrastructure. You will drive a multi‑team engineering discipline spanning data engineering, analytics engineering, streaming and ML/AI to deliver high‑impact products that power automotive retail analytics.

You will lead platform direction, raise engineering standards and ensure secure, cost‑efficient data pipelines at scale, partnering with Product and Customer teams to translate business goals

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi‑team data engineering organisations in a product‑led, cloud‑native environment.
• Data Architecture and operational expertise with AWS analytics services and modern data architecture (lake + warehouse + streaming under unified governance).
• Strong track record shipping reliable, cost‑efficient pipelines at scale; credibility in SQL/Python and with dbt/Spark.
• Proven experience using AI development tools to increase engineering efficiency.
• MLOps experience: feature pipelines, automated testing, model versioning/registry, promotion workflows and post‑production monitoring.
• Excellent people leadership: hiring, developing and performance‑managing senior engineers; setting clear goals and creating psychological safety.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication—from architecture decisions to executive updates.
• Nice to have: experience with ThoughtSpot, automotive or adjacent domains.

Responsibilities

• Run the function day‑to‑day and deliver across teams with resilient operations.
• Set platform direction, align designs to AWS Well‑Architected Framework and governance.
• Raise engineering standards through IaC, CI/CD for data and ML practices; codify batch, streaming and ML patterns.
• Deliver trustworthy data with defined data quality SLAs and a governed metrics layer.
• Champion security, privacy and compliance across datasets.
• Lead managers and senior ICs; drive talent development and a high‑performance culture.
• Partner with Product, Platform, 3rd parties and customer teams to convert business goals into a data roadmap.
