Job summary

Nuro in California is hiring a data infrastructure engineer to design and build unified, scalable data pipelines and storage for evaluation and ML training. You will ingest data from logs and simulations and collaborate with system engineers to validate autonomous driving systems.

You will create dashboards, monitoring, and tooling for data labeling and annotation, and apply ML techniques to support Autonomy domains such as Perception, Behavior, and Mapping.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in BS, MS, or Ph.D. with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• You are proficient in Python or similar languages and comfortable with large-scale data systems.
• You have experience building scalable data pipelines and leading technical efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop unified, introspectable, large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Create storage systems for large evaluation and performance data and build dashboards.
• Develop monitoring, testing, and data annotation tooling to support labeling.
• Collaborate with system engineers to validate autonomous driving data pipelines.
