Job summary

Nuro in Mountain View, CA is hiring for an ML Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and deploy core ML infrastructure across our autonomy teams. You will collaborate to improve model lifecycles, data pipelines, and deployment on our fleet of self‑driving robots.

Requires a BS/MS/PhD with 1+ years in ML pipelines, strong Python and C++, and a drive to build scalable, high‑performance distributed systems. We offer a competitive package with annual bonus, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

BS/MS/PhD in CS or a related field with 1+ years of relevant experience.
Strong Python and C++ skills with a focus on scalable, high-performance systems.
Experience with ML pipelines and distributed architectures is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop ML workflow pipelines to train, optimize, validate, and deploy ML models for Nuro autonomy.
Develop and maintain continuous testing and monitoring systems for core ML infrastructure components.
Develop observability to track ML model lifecycles from data generation to on-road validation.
Maintain an in-house ML inference platform to serve large language models efficiently.
Maintain an in-house ML compiler platform to compile, deploy, and validate autonomy models across hardware platforms.
