Apexon is seeking a Senior Data Operations Engineer to support and maintain critical data platforms and pipelines in a hybrid role in Auburn Hills, MI. You will oversee production support, ETL/ELT processes, and data infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.

The role requires 8+ years in data operations, strong Python/Java, and experience with ETL, Spark, Hadoop, and BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.

ITIL.
Production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and on-call experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot, and support batch jobs and ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Manage production incidents, changes, problems, and SLA compliance.
Support AWS Glue, S3, RDS, and data lake environments.
Troubleshoot Python, Java, Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, and Impala.
Support Oracle/OLTP databases and perform query/performance tuning.
Provide Tomcat administration and application support.
Support dashboards in Tableau and Power BI.
Participate in on-call rotations and senior-level production escalations.
Review production releases, code changes, testing, documentation, and rollback plans.
Work with Git, pull requests, branching/merge standards, and security remediation.
