Job summary

Teradata is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Modeler to lead the design and evolution of enterprise‑scale data models powering analytics, AI, and knowledge platforms across multiple domains.

You will translate complex business domains into scalable conceptual, logical, and physical models, collaborate with engineering, governance, and AI teams, and establish data modeling standards for Enterprise Context Engine.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling, information architecture, or enterprise data architecture.
• Hands-on experience creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models for large-scale environments.
• Strong SQL and database design expertise.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models across multiple business domains.
• Create scalable data models supporting transactional systems, operational platforms, analytics, ML, and AI workloads.
• Develop canonical data models, business information models, and semantic layers for consistent enterprise understanding.
• Define and enforce data modeling best practices, naming conventions, and architecture standards.
• Model data for modern cloud data platforms and collaborate with data engineers on various modeling paradigms.
