Job summary

Ridgeline, a pioneer in cloud-based investment management software, is seeking a Data Migration Consultant to own end-to-end data migrations for investment management clients. You will interact with stakeholders to define scope, map data, and drive go-lives, combining consulting with technical execution.

The role emphasizes data integrity, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the delivery of reliable migrations that enable clients to manage portfolios and performance data effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience within the investment management industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial instrument types, asset management industry, and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead data conversion projects from inception to completion, ensuring integrity and accessibility.
• Collaborate with implementation team and customers to gather requirements on client management, portfolio accounting, and performance data.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, and cleansing to meet project specs.
• Validate, troubleshoot, and resolve variances between source data and Ridgeline data.
• Coordinate with project managers and consultants to account for dependencies in onboarding.
• Partner with Data Science to improve processes, automation, and accuracy.
• Understand Ridgeline’s value proposition and use implementation methodology for holistic solutions.
• Deliver timely verbal and written updates on data migration tasks to customers and team.
• Contribute to Customer Success initiatives to improve onboarding experience.
