Job summary

Deloitte GPS Engineering as a Service seeks a Data Engineer III to drive data migration for a new Appian-based solution. You will lead legacy-to-relational data migration, map source-to-target structures, and coordinate ETL activities with architects, Appian developers, and business SMEs.

You will participate in Agile sprint planning, ensure data quality, and apply Appian development standards to deliver maintainable, scalable data platforms for mission objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading data migration projects.
• 3+ years building source-to-target mappings for data integration.
• 3+ years of PL/SQL development with complex queries, procedures, and packages.
• 3+ years validating and reconciling data for accuracy.
• 1+ year delivering Agile/Scrum projects with sprints and reviews.
• Ability to travel up to 25% depending on client engagement.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration of data from legacy systems into relational databases for a new Appian application.
• Own source-to-target mapping, migration strategy, and cutover support.
• Collaborate with architects, Appian developers, analysts, and SMEs to ensure data quality.
• Participate in Agile delivery: planning, standups, refinements, and releases.
• Apply Appian standards, reusable components, and performance practices.
