Job summary

Capgemini in Westlake, TX seeks an experienced Lead Data Migration Engineer to execute data migration tasks, build ETL pipelines, and support validation under guidance from senior engineers. This role is based in Westlake, TX, with day-one onsite requirements and a hybrid work model.

You will develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading, define data mappings, run data quality checks, and collaborate with the team on migration testing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong SQL proficiency and Python knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica.
• Familiarity with data modeling and databases.
• Public Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading tasks.
• Assist in defining data mappings and transformation rules.
• Execute data validation and reconciliation checks.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues.
