Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Data Manager to support configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting. You will help implement policies for requirements, document, and change management across the enterprise, handling data lifecycles and architectures with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes data processing, validation, and ensuring accessibility and timeliness of data for users. Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required, with 40-hour weeks and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of Python experience for data processing, transformation, automation, validation, or related data workflows.
• 3+ years of SSIS experience.
• 3+ years of SQL, SSIS, Python, Databricks experience.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases and large, complex datasets.
• Strong technical documentation skills documenting data flows, rules, dependencies, processes, and production support.

Become a part of our caring community The Senior Data Manager supports all aspects of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting.
The Senior Data Manager supports implementation of government and industry policies for requirements management, document management, change management, production and delivery, and configuration management of the performance, functional, and physical baselines. Acquires, validates, stores, protects, and processes required data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of the data for its users. Develops and executes architectures, policies, practices and procedures that properly manage the full data lifecycle needs of an enterprise. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
This is a remote position, and you will report to the Associate Director, Innovation Portfolio Strategy.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• You will have a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field


• You will have a Healthcare or managed care experience


• You will have experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as SAS, SPSS, QlickView, Hadoop, SQL or similar tools

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$97,900 - $133,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
