Job summary

Travere Therapeutics in San Diego, CA, seeks an Associate Director of Data Management to lead start-up and execution of trials with CROs or in-house teams, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires expert data management leadership, collaboration across study teams, and oversight of vendors to deliver complete datasets for publications and submissions. The position supports hybrid work with on-site presence in San Diego.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combination considered.
• 8+ years of direct Data Management experience required.
• Experience with CROs and vendor management.
• Knowledge of CDASH/SDTM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and accountability for data management deliverables within a given development program.
• Develop, maintain and execute data management timelines for a given development program.
• Data Management leadership in program audits and regulatory inspections.
• Lead data management subject matter expert at Study Management Team meetings.
• Identify gaps in existing data management processes and champion changes.
• Serve as Lead CDM to manage CROs and third-party vendors for DM.
• Perform ongoing data review of clinical data to identify discrepancies and resolutions.
• Review data for protocol deviations, coding, and database UAT.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments and attend trials' team meetings as Lead CDM.
• Strategize and plan for database locks and multiple deliverables across programs.
• Provide input on SOPs and study protocols from a data management perspective.
• Set up and archive data management project documentation.
• Monitor activity and status to meet timelines and budgets.
