Job summary

Reddit is seeking a Staff Operations Program Manager to lead its central data labeling function. The role focuses on translating complex labeling needs into scalable workflows and coordinating with vendor teams across the company.

You will drive taxonomy, intake, and SLA frameworks while advancing LLM-enabled labeling and operational scaling with cross-functional partners in product, data science, and operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data operations, program management, or vendor operations focusing on data labeling or taxonomy.
• Ability to align Product and Engineering leadership and enforce prioritization.
• Translation of vague product needs into detailed labeling instructions and taxonomy schemas.
• Experience integrating LLMs or automated tooling to augment vendor annotation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Intake & Expectation Management: Own and scale the incoming request process across Consumer and Ads; ensure robust delivery frameworks and prioritized initiatives.
• 0-to-1 Operations & LLM Scaling: Shape central labeling growth; implement an operational roadmap for LLM-assisted labeling to multiply throughput.
• Taxonomy & Experimentation Architecture: Standardize taxonomy guidelines and support multi-quarter labeling projects for product experiments and safety systems.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Ops Leaders to align labeling with business objectives.
• Guideline & Operational Calibration: Collaborate with Vendor Manager to hand off clear guidelines and resolve edge cases.
• Framework Development: Build centralized intake models, SLAs, QA practices, and throughput metrics across labeling domains.
