Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a data analytics professional to own reporting and data analysis for supply chain and work management. You will design Power BI solutions, develop data models, and create dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making.

The role emphasizes data mining, SQL and Python skills, collaboration with consultants, and acting as data owner for grid analytics and related functions. Hybrid work with on-site requirements in NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Physics, IT or Business Administration.
• 3 years related work experience.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, R, SAS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Extract insights from internal and external data to support decision-making.
• Create ad-hoc reports for end-user requirements.
• Data exploration, cleansing, validation and testing to optimize processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver analytics solutions.
• Perform analysis on supply chain and data to identify improvements.
• Develop and maintain automated applications, tools and processes.
• Design data mart settings and report specifications.
