Job summary

KLR Executive Search Group LLC is helping a Boston-area biotechnology leader find a Senior Manager of Data Integration & Engineering to lead enterprise integration, middleware, and data pipelines. You will partner with IT, Commercial, Medical, Finance, and other functions to design scalable, secure data flows.

This hands-on leader will implement and mature integration strategies, oversee API-based and ELT pipelines, and manage external partners.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in enterprise integration or data engineering.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise integrations and data pipelines.
• Hands-on with one or more data platforms listed.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain an enterprise integration roadmap aligned to ERP, Commercial, Medical, Clinical, Research, Quality, MDM, and data warehouse priorities.
• Evaluate and govern integration platforms (Informatica, Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure, Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake).
• Manage implementation and maturation of enterprise integration and data engineering capabilities.
• Design and oversee data pipelines between ERP, CRM, EDC, LIMS, HRIS, CLM, Concur, and partners.
• Collaborate with Architecture Review Board to ensure designs meet security, privacy, and operational standards.
