You'll collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering to translate ambiguous requirements into reliable systems, set high engineering standards, and guide technical direction while contributing to hands-on delivery and architecture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with the majority focused on data engineering.
• 3+ years building data solutions on AWS, including real-time streaming and event-driven systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with tools like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Solid grasp of data modeling fundamentals, including dimensional modeling and warehouse design.
• Comfort working in Agile/Scrum teams and owning technical decisions with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate data pipelines for real-time and batch use cases.
• Partner with product, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into reliable systems.
• Help set the technical bar for pipeline design, testing, and monitoring.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to broader technical direction.
