Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Sr. Data Integration Engineer to lead hands-on ETL/ELT development and application connectivity across a modern enterprise landscape, with a focus on Talend and modernization of MuleSoft integrations.

This long-term contract role requires deep expertise in enterprise data integration and scalable solutions. You will partner with Solution Architects, Application Teams, Data Platform Teams and Business Analysts to design, test, and support

Qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration.
• Solid understanding of OnPremise and hybrid Talend configurations including TAC, JobServers and Qlik Talend Cloud environments.
• Strong experience developing ETL and ELT solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience analyzing, supporting or converting MuleSoft integrations.
• Strong SQL development and database integration experience.
• Experience integrating Salesforce platforms and APIs.
• Experience integrating Snowflake.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON and XML.
• Experience with SFTP platforms and data exchange patterns.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Talend SME for development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise integration solutions.
• Design and develop Talend jobs, workflows, data pipelines, and orchestration processes.
• Build and maintain batch, near real-time, and event-driven integrations.
• Optimize Talend jobs for performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Analyze existing MuleSoft integrations and migrate to Talend as part of modernization.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions for enterprise apps, data warehouses, and analytics.
• Develop integrations across Salesforce, Snowflake, SQL Server, REST/SOAP APIs, and SFTP/file-based patterns.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews.
