Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions in Denver seeks a senior cloud/database architect to lead enterprise data platforms, migrations, and analytics modernization. You will design scalable OLTP/OLAP architectures, build ELT/ETL pipelines, and mentor teams across business and technology stakeholders.

The role requires strong SQL, data modeling, and experience with cloud-native data warehouses like Snowflake, plus hands-on Talend and API integration capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL (RDS) or equivalent relational cloud database platforms.
• 4+ years building enterprise analytics platforms using Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse technologies.
• Strong experience in cloud migration, database modernization, and distributed database architectures.
• Experience building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Python, Talend, AWS EMR, or similar technologies.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, database optimization, and analytical skills.
• Experience with observability and operational tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of production support, incident management, monitoring, and root cause analysis.
• Proven leadership experience in mentoring teams, driving technical strategy, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong experience with API development, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Talend, including job design, pipeline development, orchestration, and production support.
• Understanding of metadata management, data cataloging, and lineage.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration patterns.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills, including data catalog artifacts, technical specifications, and process documentation.
• Preferred: AWS and Snowflake certifications; experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures not Mandatory
