Job summary

Talan Group is seeking a Senior Data Integration Developer in Houston to own and enhance ETL pipelines for an energy trading client. You will work on the FIS Aligne platform, expanding data ingestion, warehousing, and reporting across 300+ pipelines and 150+ dashboards.

The role emphasizes ownership, on-prem Microsoft tech, and collaboration with Front/Middle Office, Risk, and Settlements teams. Hybrid work with onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer science, Engineering, Finance orQuantitative finance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL and data integration pipelines.
• Build and support SSIS solutions in an on-premise Microsoft environment.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database processes.
• Support data ingestion from market, pricing, weather, broker, ISO, trade, and transactional data sources.
• Maintain downstream data warehouses supporting historical reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and analytics.
• Investigate production issues, failed data pipelines, and data discrepancies.
• Support integrations between FIS Aligne and upstream/downstream systems.
• Work directly with business users across trading, risk, settlements, and operations.
• Contribute to Python-based data processing, automation, and integration solutions.
• Take ownership of critical systems while migrating toward the future trading platform.
